This must be the year I eat meals with a coat on cause it was cold in the restaurant during dinnertime.
This is one of those places I go to when I feel lazy and I'm craving a noodle or curry dish. But of course, I always get mad afterwards, cause I know I could have made it at home. I ordered the Ba Mee Chao Nue noodle dish that consists of lo mein noodles, veggies, and a black garlic sauce. It was good but didn't stand out from any other takeout Chinese lo mein dishes. My hubs ordered the tom yum soup and that was a delight to the taste buds with its sour and salty broth. The restaurant provides a nice environment that helped us catch up on the day (even though we didn't feel warm enough to take off our coats).
Service was attentive, but on the slow end. We sat in a booth and immediately noticed that the furniture was getting old as we could feel the springs and see cracks in the pleather.
