| - Seriously one of the BEST dining experiences of my life! We made a reservation with another couple for two weekends ago and had a delightful experience - seriously everything was perfect!
We were warmly welcomed and seated on the private patio for our first 4 courses. The cocktail was amazing and the trio served to us was divine - especially the bbq brussels sprout.
We were then escorted into the bar for our next several courses and our party was seated at a private table overlooking the dining room. Literally everything that was served was simply amazing and I love how chef focused these courses on his sophisticated take on bar food - how fun! And don't miss the jamon - the kind of stuff you will dream about, I swear!
For the remainder of the courses (22 in all that night), we were seated in the dining room at the table right at the kitchen to see all of the magic happen - what a treat! The leek soup, suckling pig, truffle risotto, the infusion and the strawberry dessert were certainly highlights, but everything that was brought to us was thoroughly enjoyed.
We opted for the sommelier pairing and were extremely impressed with how perfectly our drinks complemented the food! We enjoyed beer, sake, sparkling wine, white wine, red wine and dessert wine - 9 different beverages in all.
Throughout dinner you are encouraged to roam around the property and the kitchen...they even offered to let you cook or plate a dish. We opted to let the professionals take care of it, but did go into the kitchen a few times to see the staff in action. Chef was so engaging and genuinely happy to have us there as guests! After the meal was complete, he took us on a thorough tour of the entire kitchen.
As if the experience couldn't get any better...Chef called and left a message the next day thanking my party for visiting Binkley's. That simple touch made a lasting impression...one I won't soon forget for such a lovely restaurant and culinary experience.
Hard to believe Chef Binkley does not have any Michelin stars...our experience rivals any other 1, 2 or 3 star Michelin dining experiences I have been fortunate enough to have!
If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind dining experience in Phoenix, Binkley's is definitely your place! We're already planning our next visit.
