I had A LOT of contact with fix auto. I feel a little on the fence about the whole experience. To give some context - I was rear-ended on the gardiner. I had pretty substantial damage to the back of my 1 year old Honda Civic and a bit of front damage. Overall about $15 grand.
PROS:
1) After the car was "fixed", I continued to have possible engine problems. I feel they went above and beyond to help me with this particular issue. They took it to the Honda dealership and were really persistent in getting it dealt with. Ultimately, nothing was resolved but they really tried.
2) They stayed late a few times to get and return my rental car in addition to driving around the city with me trying to duplicate my engine problem.
3) Anytime I needed to come and get stuff out of my car, I was able to and they were always there to answer my questions.
CONS:
1) They closed early one day after I said I was going to pick up my car. I was desperate and excited to have it back after 6 weeks and it was such an incredible disappointment to have them closed over 20 minutes early when I arrived. The next morning they left a snotty voicemail stating I only had one day left with my rental car and to confirm I was picking mine up - but then became super apologetic when I informed them I came but they had closed early.
2) They were really inconsistent with telling me when my car was going to be ready and it also took longer then they had quoted and didn't update me when it was taking longer.
3) I had to take it back after it was "fixed" because the speakers were still broken.
Overall, I feel if like you have a less complicated case than me they would do a fantastic job. Their service seemed a little inconsistent and I'm a little salty because I wanted my car to be a write-off and I continue to have car problems which isn't really fix auto's responsibility necessarily.
