  • We were staying at the Venetian (4 adults) which certainly has a nice complex of pools and the expensive Tao Beach club, but the Flamingo Pool just a few doors down (recommended by two younger friends that were staying there was much better). First - a bucket of six higher end beers runs you $45 at the Venetian, while at the Flamingo u can get a pitcher (about 4-5 beers) of craft beer like Lagunitas for $25. The pool itself is much more party atmosphere, instead of a big square it has twists and turns and a waterfall! The daybeds can be negotiable after a certain time as well, we got one for $100 (normally $250) after 1PM. They do have a pretty extensive security check but not sure why anyone would complain about that. Definitely a lot more "fun" crowd but its not a frat party either - best of both worlds.
