| - TTC is the only public transportation in Toronto so the least I can say is it's okay, but I have experienced better. Unfortunately, a review won't improve things but to you readers, here are some tips on specific lines I take daily:
29 Dufferin (bus) - this bus is both dreadful and fantastic. On it's good days, it'll come every 3-5mins. It's quick and you'll have no problem getting on. On it's bad days, a few things can happen:
- it can either come in batches. Great when you're there, but if you miss the group, you'll have to wait 10-15mins sometimes.
- it can be full at the front, empty at the back but the driver will drive right past you.
- when traveling at night, sometimes the bus will not see you if you're waiting at a stop without lights. If that is the case, it will drive right past you. Wave your hands or make it noticeable!
- during the EX, if you're going back north and you're not getting on at the EX, best of luck. You must as well walk.
Line 2 (subway - green line) - the front and last trains usually always have AC. The ones in the middle are more likely to have broken AC when it's sweltering hot.
If you don't know already, you can text when the next bus or streetcar is coming or us an app. Still to this day, I see people waiting or not knowing how long the next one is. Knowing this information will be helpful for planning your travel to your destination.
