  • Sadly, I had a similar experience. Waa quoted $7000 for deck work. Once the salesman found out the homeowner was an attorney, he assumesd he had money and literally doubles the price for the same work. Thankfully, I had literally written down what the original quote encompassed and when I asked him, he told me it was double the work and cited the exact items he cited me the first rime, just twice the price. I already got various bids and his was reasonable first round, outrageous the second time. Very diaappointed. Despite hearing the work is often good, the sales tactics are shady at best.
