  • We contracted with Earth Limo for 2 coach buses for transportation (of the 100 guests attending our son's wedding) from Mandalay Bay on the strip to the wedding venue on Lake Las Vegas and then back to the hotel after the wedding. We requested that the buses depart for the venue at 2:30 pm so we were instructed by the Earth Limo representative to have the guests meet the buses at the Mandalay Bay beach level (also valet pick up area) at 2:15 and they would depart by 2:30 The ride takes about 35 minutes therefore everyone would be there in enough time for the 3:30 wedding ceremony. All of the guests were at the beach level by 2:15 as instructed but the buses were not! When the buses finally did arrive (somewhere around 2:35) they arrived at the casino level which is the level above the beach level). Instead of telling the guests to come up to the casino level (which would have taken 5 minutes) the 2 drivers brought the buses down to the beach level (which can't really accommodate coach buses) which took about 15-20 minutes to maneuver the buses back around through the Las Vegas streets, so the guests were not able to board the buses until approximately 2:50. The buses did not leave Mandalay Bay until 3pm. Needless to say the guests did not arrive until 3:30-3:35 and then got dropped off around the back of the venue instead of the main entrance to the venue (afterward we were told this was standard procedure for large buses but it would have been nice if the bus company had verbalized that to us before hand). Because they were not dropped off at the front of the venue, the guests weren't quite sure how to find the area where the wedding was being held. Needless to say they were quite frazzled when they finally got to the ceremony (which they would have seen immediately upon entering the building if they had been left in the front of the venue). When we returned home after the weekend I called Earth Limo and explained the situation. I spoke with Nicole (who I was told was one of the managers). I asked her why we were told the guests should be at the beach level when the buses went to the casino level and she told me the buses were at the beach level but they were in a different area than the valet pick up area. Since many of the guest had confirmed that the buses were originally on the casino level, I decided to call Mandalay Bay to find out exactly what level coach buses should arrive to pick up the passengers. I was told that the buses have to do the pick up at the Tour and Travel Lobby which is on the CASINO LEVEL behind the front desk area. (So we WERE given the WRONG INFORMATION when we were originally told by Earth Limo to meet the buses on the beach level.) If we were given the correct information by Earth Limos our guests would have had a pleasant experience (instead of the insanity that they experienced) and would have arrived at the wedding venue a half hour before the ceremony and enjoy themselves before the wedding started. For all this inconvenience Earth Limo refund us $100 even though I told them that they should be offering a lot more than that. There were other things that should be mentioned but let's just say I would NOT recommend Earth Limo to anyone.
