I had a really nice stay here. If you're planning on spending a few nights here, it's probably because you're on a business trip and have some sort of event at the Convention Center. That was exactly why I stayed here. I've been to Vegas 5 times, but this is my first time staying off the strip.
Pros
+Comfy bed
+Extremely close to LVCC Monorail & Convention Center. Some of our meetings were even in the ballrooms at the Renaissance, so it was so easy to just wake up and head over without factoring in commute times.
+Quick check in. I'm used to the Strip hotels where you'll spend approx. an hour just trying to get your room. I was in my room within 10 minutes of arriving.
+Bath was relaxing after back-to-back meetings & conferences
+No casino (could be a pro or con depending on who you are.. for me it was a pro because there wasn't any smoky air.)
+Free bottles of water
+Fridge in room
+Outdoor pool.. I didn't get a chance to get in due to my short stay, but we did tip our toes and have a nice Happy Hour networking event in the pool area.
Cons
-Grill was closed, so not much options for food other than the few items Starbucks offered.
-No convenience store close to buy toiletries and their selection in their "store" was scarce. We ended up stopping at the CVS on the Strip and just bringing stuff back.
-I asked about the wifi and whether it was free or not upon check-in and I was told yes. It wasn't.
Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would choose this hotel again when I want to get away from the hustle-and-bustle of the strip.
