| - This hotel was actually pretty nice - decent rooms, staff was helpful, place was well-kept, but it didn't exactly make up for the rough experience we had here. I stayed here with my family for two nights and while our stay was fine, one of the two nights we were woken up at around 1 A.M. by a terrible alarm sound. We immediately all woke up and peered out into the halls to find everyone else looking out as well, not sure if there was an actual emergency or not. Honestly, we were all the way up on the 12th floor or something so I was trying really hard to be as collected as I could've been, but I was panicking. Then, after about half an hour of the alarm going off, with basically zero explanation, they shut off the alarm and that was the end of that. That entire ordeal was one thing, but the fact that they never offered or tried to fix the issue the next day and basically acted like it never happened was really frustrating. Honestly, there are much better places to stay in Toronto at a better price that would probably value you more as a customer than this place.
