| - Fine dining at its best!
I've had the pleasure and honor to dine here more than 5 times, and every time it is... se magnifique!
Highlights:
Food - I love technique and presentation. Every dish is well thought out in terms of presentation of the food, plate ware, colors, and then elevated with some sort of foam, gelee, flavor layering, and/or intricate presentation. You almost feel bad for eating such a lovely piece of artwork... almost ;)
Some of my favorites have been:
-Caviar Crab Salad/Parfait
-Joel Robuchon Mashed Potatoes
-Salad of Tomato/Gelee
Bread Cart - so many to choose from!
10+ daily baked breads are rolled out to you for selection. After you pick out your heart's desire, it is heated and brought back to you. I love the breads, but I love the butter more! Imported French butter curled tableside and sprinkled with sea salt. Such a Beautiful presentation!
Candy Cart - again, so many to choose from!
I lost count of how many they offer! But I always muster up my appetite to try at least 6 varietals, ranging from the caramels, candies, bon bons, pastries, chocolates, and more.
Tea Cart - so fresh (literally), and so cool!
Fresh herb plants are rolled to your table for you to choose. Upon your selection, the server snipes the plants, cleans the leaves, and brews the tea. It's the only place I've ever seen this type of tea service.
Definitely a once in a lifetime experience to have, if not more!
