  • The only 24 hr "sport" gym I've used since I moved to Las Vegas. So you're probably wondering how this gym is? Don't mind my tip about the sweaty ballsack smell in the steam and sauna room - that was 'before' they were cleaned. They actually get cleaned at the wee hours of the AM every day, so I may have to check it out earlier in the day and report back. Surprisingly, this gym is not as bad as you may think. Sure, it may be located in a sketchier area of the neighborhood and right down the block from The Orleans Casino, but I have yet to see anything scary (other than druggy panhandling bums), even well past the midnight hour. We are always warmly greeted (at all hours) by the front desk folks when we come and go, plus they are very helpful when we have questions about supplements and etcetera. I like how mellow the gym is for late night workout sessions; people are polite with the equipment, everyone minds their own business, no staring or weirdness. Ok, maybe some weirdness may be expected sometimes, but it's all good and fun until someone gets hurt. You are also guaranteed an occasional, overachieving, exaggerated, loud and comical groan and grunt from the few dudes that have no sense of public decency. Also, on a nightly basis, all of the machines are available when I need it. I feel like I pretty much have the gym to myself! They have all of the typical amenities of a well appointed gym: a single indoor lap pool, jacuzzi/ whirlpool, sauna, steam room, separate men's/women's lockers, a full sized indoor basketball court that looks like they are busy every night when I come (9pm and after midnight), the entire first floor is dedicated to weight training with an ample selection, the entire upstairs is dedicated to cardio with a few televisions and well over enough machines so I really can't see you having to wait unless it's extreme peak hour. They offer a good variety of group classes during the day. I always take advantage of their well-lit, mirrored, group exercise/ aerobics room as it's neatly stocked with mats, inflatable balls and more free weights to use at our convenience at all hours of the day. They also have a separate room upstairs for cycling class, which I have yet to test out. Other perks of this location: they offer personal training with a dedicated area, a separate room for the the Kids' Club, and of course a Pro Shop with some clothing, protein and the various fitness suspects. They keep this gym super clean and the machines are also well taken care of - I don't have any complaints about weird smells beyond acceptable sweaty expectations so I think we are good here, folks! It's safe to get your fitness on!
