I had been hearing lots of great things about this place so my sister and I decided to give it a try last Friday night and we were not disappointed! When we pulled up I was a little apprehensive and didn't know what I was getting myself into but when we walked inside we were transported to this cute, hidden gem of a tiki bar. The lighting is very dim but the decor is full of vibrant colors, bamboo and island vibes. The staff is super friendly from the moment you arrive up until you stumble back out the door. Most of the Yelp reviews mentioned The Zombie so of course that was our first pick. Go big or go home, right? The drink is very strong. Not in an unbearable to drink kind of way but you can definitely taste the 5+ ounces of rum. We got another drink after The Zombie but by then I was a bit tipsy and I can't remember the name. It was good too though. Food wise we ordered the pepperoni roll and Gouda cheese ball. Both were delish! The only reason I'm giving them a 4 is because I was expecting more food options especially given the amount of liquor some patrons were consuming. On top of that, I really wanted to try the nachos everyone is Yelping about but they weren't available. I was super bummed! This is a perfect spot to spend a warm summer night and I definitely plan to go back to sit on the patio, try some more cocktails and hopefully get my hands on those Closing Time Nachos!
