Ok so here's the deal with this place as of March 10, 2016. They're only Weds-Sun from 5pm-9pm. I arrived today at 4:52, and there was about 20 people waiting from them to open at 5. They opened the door at 5:02, and I had my food by 5:15. I would call that excellent service! By 5:15 the place was totally packed with no more seating available! My server Veronica was excellent! I opted for a combo plate with two enchiladas and a taco, was a ton of food but I finished it. This is a 57 year family run establishment that is trying keep their overhead low and get it while the gettins good as is being open limited hours and during snowbird season. They want to have a life away from the restaurant and not open year round and all day. I truly get it. The people of Mesa support them regardless of this and it shows in a big way! A long time traditional place like this will always be supported by people that grew up on this stuff! I'm opting for green chile next time! This place is what it is, love it or hate it, they're doing well in my eyes!
