We initially went to Grove City to shop, but there's only so much to buy. The next day we decided to make a day in Pittsburgh and the first stop was the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens because it was highly rated on Tripadvisor.
Are we sure glad to made it! It was a Monday morning, unfortunately I didn't find any free parking spots in the center, so we ended up parking down the street for a fee. It was around $18 a person and since it wasn't too busy, we were able to make use of the lockers - only 25 cents! Since it was still transitioning to spring, the outdoor garden wasn't available yet so that was a bummer. We were still almost there for 2 hours. The fragrant flowers were amazing and the arrangements were awe-inspiring. We'll definitely need to come back when all the flowers are in full bloom so we can experience the gardens in all its glory!
