rev:text	If you read some of the other reviews, you'll see Francis & Sons Car Wash is basically a crappy car wash. The main reason I ever use this car wash of it's close proximity to my house. THE STORY Since I purchased a new car, I've been attempting to keep my car clean, looking nice and to maintain that "new car smell" for as long as possible. I even went to Jackson's Car Wash in the Biltmore area to avoid going back to Francis & Sons Car Wash. Jackson's was HORRIBLE, EXPENSIVE and TOOK HOURS. So, I figured, at least Francis & Sons is close. My last visit at Frances & Sons, I showed them the horrible wax job they did at Jackson's and was told I needed to have the clay remove it and rewaxed. I also needed the seats cleaned. I was given the hard sell and was offered a wash and wax for $369. THREE HUNDRED SIXTY-NINE DOLLARS?!? That is a ridiculous price on so many levels. For $369, I would expect Channing Tatum to hand wash my car topless whilst I'm sipping Perriot Jouet watching the sunset on Grand Cayman Beach. NOT watching 3 toothless 120 lb. 70 year old illegals smoking whilst they eventually rub a dirty rag on my windshield in the middle of a dirty parking lot during a Phoenix heatwave. Anyway, I told the salesman I'd pay $250 if my car was washed inside and out and was returned to brand new condition. Luckily, there was a very capable employee who took great pride in his work working that day. Although it took several hours, my car looked very nice when he was finished. The cup holder still was still sticky and dirty, but otherwise, I was impressed. I would have to say that was the exception, not the rule. Usually, my car just comes out so-so. Lastly, I hate the hard sell at car washes. It's one of the only places you get badgered when you get there. Hard sell on the expensive wash. Hard sell on the new windshield replacement. Hard sell on oil changes. Annoying. CONCLUSION Overall, I'd usually rate Francis & Sons Car Wash 2/5 Because of the excellent care taken on my last visit: 3/5 3/5 RECOMMEND OF NOTE * Hours Mon-Sat 7:30AM-6PM Sun 8AM-5PM
