  • I had a group of 9 coming in for a birthday dinner, so I worked with Stevie and arranged for a pre fixe menu and ordered a cake for the party. Stevie was wonderful - very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was lovely, but that's about where it ends for me. Where the group was seated,seemed to be just outside the kitchen and there was a VERY strong (overpowering) fish smell. The service was "ok" but not very friendly, and definitely "no special attention" was given. The food was not prepared well. Many in the group ordered steaks and requested them medium, medium well or well. Almost everyone of them came out very undercooked. Mine was raw/ rubbery on the inside and I had to send it back, as did a few others. The cake was BEAUTIFUL - looked exactly like what I had requested, but even that didn't have a great taste. It was ok, but I really expected more for a $150.00 8 inch cake. I really had high hopes for this dinner, but honestly left very disappointed and sad. I wanted to give my husband a memorable birthday dinner, but it left a LOT to be desired.
