  • when our sweet lab mix, Ginger, was 'sick as a dog' throwing up blood, we took her to her normal vet at Banfield. Even though it was an emergency, they said they were all booked and wouldn't see her! Shame! We came to Northwest V.H. because it is two blocks from our home and it had a great yelp rating. The girls up front, immediately sprang into action when hearing of our baby's symptoms. We saw a vet within 15 mins of arriving! The vet was SO NICE. She got down on the ground and spent time petting and loving Ginger. Xrays were done quickly, and the vet brought us back and explained everything in detail and with so much patience in layman's terms. Poor girl needed surgery to remove an obstruction in her stomach. They had her in surgery within 2 hours of arriving. Amazing! The SINCERE KINDNESS, SENSE OF UGENCY, and GENUINE CARING, we experienced at this facility was absolutely the top notch! I will NEVER EVER go anywhere else!!!
