| - Well, it's a tourist trap, plain and simple. But it is pretty fun.
My girlfriend wanted to ride it, and since we were in a touristy mood and hitting all the shows / attractions, figured we might as well do it once. At $14, it's pretty expensive, but they do offer up an all day pass for $28, which is a hell of a deal for kids- you can ride as much as you want for the money, plus the entrance is right next to a HUGE arcade, so it's definitely something for the families.
Ride is pretty cool, nothing overly spectacular, but it does have a few twists and turns that give you a nice g-force pull. First drop is pretty impressive. Helpful hint- they're not joking when they say no cameras or anything in your pockets. They check you when you get to the front of the line. If they see anything, they'll make you leave the line and put it in the lockers, so just get it over with, rent a locker for .75, throw EVERYTHING in there, and then get in line.
Overall, a fun experience. It was cool to do once. Don't think I'll do it again, but nice to be able to say I did it. If you have kids and you're in Vegas- I don't know why you would do that, but this would be a great place to take them.
