  • So my hubby surprised me by taking me to go out to race go carts...I was driving and he was telling me where to go...At 9pm at night I was a little worried driving into this neighborhood. Pulled in and thought they were closed until you see the HUGE trailer pointing you east bound. We park and go in. The girls up front we nice and told us to sign up on the computers and then come to them...pretty simple stuff. Well we paid for just the 1 race and waited 30 minutes to race. A lot of teens were running around but we paid them no mind since they weren't that loud. We go outside so the hubby can have a cigarette and a staff member gets out and walks to his car. I find it pretty embarrassing for the company to have an employee go out to his car, blare his music and peel out of your parking lot screeching tires and all. If that's a normal thing I would not return your business ( the slammed gray Magnum is ridiculous) Girls bathroom was disgusting, thankful I only had to use it once. We sat outside in the pit area and got really excited watching how fast these carts go. 14 laps seems like a lot until you see the size of the track. Takes you less than a minute to get around it once. The guys in the pit area were super cool, knew there stuff, and had the playful banter that got me and my hubby in the racing mood. Like I said 30 minutes waiting (they said their was a computer issue) we got suited up, read the rules and were happy to get into the carts. We were suited up sitting in our go karts, with helmets and a head sock....needless to say if you claustrophobic may not be a good idea. We had to wait on 2 racers who took their sweet time which wasn't fair to us since we were all ready to race. Okay so zoom zoom....we get ready to race...the 2 drivers we waited on were a mother and daughter and they ruined the whole race. The young teen didn't know how to drive the go kart and was intimidated by the speed of the race and the mother kept on her daughters rear end so no one really had a good time racing. We were stopped several times because the mother was videotaping her daughter (pit crew guys took her cell phone) then we stopped cause the young teen caused another female racer to crash into the wall. I have to say this was a blast and would so love to go back and do it again with a big group of our friends but I would HIGHLY SUGGEST watching who is racing with you because of those 2 drivers it was a horrible time.....and I was too upset to even care to grab our screen print out of the race. So I will give this place another chance and see if we have a good time.
