  • Deceptive Business Practices... Salesman assured us that termination of agreement was simply a 60 day notice. After 3 years of service, CPI is billing us for a five year contract after we sold the house due to job relocation. Next stop: Better Business Bureau. I will offer this information to all who are considering CPI: Do not sign a "standard" service contract with CPI. DO NOT BELIEVE THE SALESPEOPLE. 01/07/16 Follow-up: I attempted to resolve this issue by working through the Better Business Bureau. Throughout the arbitration process, CPI merely stated that regardless of what we were told by their salesman, we signed a contract and they would hold us to the letter of the contract. OH, and they also offered to sign us up in our new location. Hahahahahahaha!!! Gimme a break.... For all who are looking for a security system, read the reviews below. The majority of the reviews sound similar to my experience. I am back with a national provider now, and have recommended to the homeowners in our new neighborhood association website to steer clear of CPI.
