  • Our sweet Daphne Doodle was just about 3 months old when we were referred to Alexander Sands through Lorenzos Dog Training. I had a dream for Daphne to be a therapy dog and no idea around how to get our hyper pup to a place where this dream could become a realty. (: I am so happy to say that our 8 month old pup now has the skills it takes to become a therapy dog and we have learned and grown with her so that we better understand her and she understands us. I could not be more satisfied with our Doodlebear...she knows all of her basic obedience commands and then some! We can walk her next to other dogs and she won't lunge to play but rather stays right next to us and looks up at us showing us that we have the influence, she will run and play and when we call her she comes running up to us and sits for us, she will follow our commands from over 100 feet away off leash with tons of other dogs and people around her...she is just the absolute perfect pup and candidate for therapy and we could not be more proud. Thanks to Alexander Sands we are that much closer to reaching our dreams of changing others lives!
