| - I really wanted to give this restaurant a better rating, but it's hard when you see a cockroach on the wall next to your table! Having read many of the reviews, I caught at least 3-4 other reviews saying there were cockroaches either on the wall or on the TABLE (I would DIE if the latter happened to me).
I understand it's a good place with good food, but I think they need to address this cockroach problem. I wanted to like it and make it my go-to Vietnamese place, but it's hard when I imagine cockroaches in the kitchen too (I just get the feeling that they KNOW they have this problem and they are not doing anything about it).
Also, I did not really like that the utensils were all hanging out at the table. I wasn't really sure how clean they were after being out there for God knows how long, and being exposed to God knows what!
Now with the food, I am not an expert on pho, but I did enjoy my chicken pho soup! However, I thought many of the chicken pieces were very tough to chew so that was annoying. We also got some yummy spring rolls.
In summary, I would say 3.5 stars for food, and 1 star for being dirty (I also caught a few yelp comments that complained about dirty lettuce or veggies).
