  • So typically my girlfriend and I will go to Smiths or Albertsons to get our shopping done but we finally got around to WinCo and what more can I say than I'm very impressed. First of all we were trying out a new recipe and were only shopping for one meal, we had no clue going in what kind of selection we could expect. Quickly we were impressed by the quality of our choices and even more so by the prices. Our typical trip worth of groceries cost us a noticeable chunk of change less which was a pleasant surprise for a household on a budget. One of our favorite areas was their bulk items and spices section. As I mentioned we were trying out a new recipe and being able to buy just the amount needed for the night in spices saved us the most money which was very helpful for a first time recipe not knowing whether we'd like it or not. Lastly there seemed to be an employee readily available in every section of the store and they were all very pleasant. From the service, the selection, the cleanliness, and the quality WinCo was a very pleasant experience. As stated by others they do not accept credit cards so do plan accordingly.
