  • This is definitely not a 4 star hotel in the same class as a Westin, say. Know what you're getting. It's obviously on top of Rogers centre, and close to the water and the entertainment district. It's not very close, though, to good food and other interesting sites, though not horribly far either. It's a 15 minute walk to the subway. In many ways it's an older hotel: the wallpaper is a playroom yellow, the furnishings look out of date, etc. It's kept up ok, but it's old. Also, when we were there, there was a loud screeching noise from the ceiling--some kind of electrical problem. We complained and got a mediocre response. I'd come back here if I got a good Hotwire price in the low century range. It's not a premium place.
