  • I have tried soooo many dog grooming places in the city for my affinpinscher and I've paid ridiculous prices for a normal cut and wash. One grooming place told me that my dog doesn't shed and so her hair needs to be plucked which would be an extra charge. Another store told me that they would have to charge extra because my dog, at 12 years old is too old and going to be a "problem" to groom. Ive even gone to some groomers for a cut and wash only to get my dog back with her hair cut, but not washed. I felt like most places that I tried were either too expensive for what they do, or like I was being scammed with all these extra charges that didn't make sense for a small 9kg dog. So a couple of years ago I decided to try petsmart. Not only were the ladies incredibly nice and accommodating (my dog has allergies to most dog shampoo's), but they also did a better job than other dog grooming places - for a fraction of the price. My mom took my dog to 3 other dog groomers afterwards and each time we were disappointed that my dog didn't look any better than when we took her to petsmart. And so, from now on, we will only be using petsmart. There are always available appointments and the customer service is always superb (especially at this particular location!). Petsmart is one of the most underrated dog groomers in the city. Don't waste your money and come here instead - you won't be disappointed!
