To start off the only reason I gave a two star was to balance out the great service from Larry the sales person and the poor service from finance.
I was shopping for a vehicle for my mother and set an appointment for her vehicle to be appraised. When I first arrived Larry and Mark were both great to me and made me feel welcome, however that ended the minute they presented me with a "value" of our vehicle that is much MUCH lower then kbb, edmunds, nada and blackbook say it's worth. I was stumped because the paper they had it on said "Kelly Blue Book Value" however when I did my own right in front of them it gave me the real value that was some 4000$ more then what they showed me... How was that so?
Larry went to get George a finance manager I assume and he to my amazement stated, "no, we go off Manheim auction value" and he avoided when I mentioned the paper states kbb value on it and I felt deceived. He then said it was obvious my car was hit in the front and rear and it never has been! So we walked around and he pointed out the seaming flaws that dodge has. I explained it and he went on to point out where my nephew hit the rear light and scratched it and said that would cost 500$ to fix... And then had the audacity to point to a 1 inch black mark in the center of the bumper saying "this is indication of it being hit"... That really pushed my buttons and I immediately went inside to tell Mark the deal was off. After explaining to mark my frustration with George accusing me of lying basically Mark brought another gentleman who then offered us only 1000 more for the vehicle.
When I mentioned that they claimed they added window tint to the whole vehicle we were interested in yet the vehicle came standard with it, he said "that's semantics".. Hmm rip off?
Needless to say I felt really deceived and very upset they lied to me and treated me poorly. Again, Mark and Larry were kind and professional however the others could use work on their people skills and honesty level.
So be warned if you come here don't expect blue book, black book, edmunds or nada value for your car but auction value. Which is about half of book values!
And as I was leaving I mentioned that another dealer had offered me blackbook and had a vehicle ready for me to which I received a reply of "good luck cause without papers signed that deal won't happen" sorry Chapmen but the deal went through and we have the same vehicle we wanted from you, with less miles for much less and walked away free and clear paying them 9000$ cash and the 12000$ trade in true value of our vehicle.
