| - I've lived here over a year now. It's a nice place to call home. Unfortunately, some of the tenants don't call this home and disrespect the property rules. The issue I have is that the residents have gotten younger and younger over the year that I've been here. At times, hallways and apartments on my floor (and other floors as well) are loud and disruptive with loud music and loud conversations (thanks to lots of alcohol) like a dormitory. And since a large percentage of people who live here are under the age of 26 and are attending college-specifically ASU, and their parents are paying their rent, they don't give a crap about the people around them or the property and it's rules; i.e., garbage and cigarette butts in the stairwells, garbage on the floor next to the trash chute, holes in the walls in hallways, leaving the lights by the bbq on, leaving the gas on the bbq running, leaving the tvs on by the pool, leaving the fire pits on, playing loud obnoxious annoying music in the gym for all to hear, inviting 10 of their friends with coolers to the pool, taking over the pool area so other residents can't take advantage of the pool. It's just a reflection of today's generation--self absorbed & spoiled by their parents.
If you're over the age of 35, I wouldn't recommend this property. I mean seriously, what would you have in common with a 20 year old? And that's another thing, some (not all) people will say hello how are you when they pass by, but when you see those same people at a property event in the club house (which occurs once a month) they don't even acknowledge you or come over and expand on conversation besides hello in the hallway. That's just strange to me.
There's security on the property but it's sporadic. And usually during the week when it's really not needed. Security is needed on the weekend during summer months to monitor the 20 plus kids and guests in the pool area who don't live at the property.
