OK, maybe I am just not properly calibrated to the sushi scene in the Scottsdale area. Scottsdale has the rep of being a bit pricey for most things - at least that was what I thought.
We stopped in to Ohya for lunch and found that their sushi was very good and the prices on the lunch special fantastic. The menu describes several sushi lunch specials - one includes 6 pieces of nagiri, choice of 1 of 4 rolls (I went with spicey crab) and includes miso soup and salad for $9.95. But wait, there's more. When the food arrived there was also a small portion of edemame, a small spring roll, and a shrimp tempura as well. That's a lot of food for $10. Not sure if they do this all the time but it was a pleasant surprise.
