  • This is one of our favorite little spots, and have been coming here for years. You can't beat Vincent's lovely French fare at these prices. The menu has some regular items (the curly endive salad with bacon and mustard dressing is among my favorite salads in the world!); the shrimp crepe and lamp shank are both to-die-for! The soufflés for dessert are spectacular. But the best thing about Vincent's Bistro is Scott... Our favorite server. He has been there for years, and treats his customers like family. You will not be disappointed at Vincent's Market Bistro -- if we have a celebration, this is where we come. So should you! If you come early and the place is packed (often the case on a Saturday evening) just meander over to the bar at Vincent's (the two restaurants are adjoined and share a kitchen) -- it's not so bad to enjoy a drink at Vincent's "proper" while you wait for a table at the Bistro. Best of both worlds! We have even seen Sandra Day O'Connor and the late Muhammed Ali dining at the Bistro... It's clearly enjoyed by the famous AND the "regulars people" - LOL. And this is NOT a pricey place. Vincent's is a big more high-brow, but the Bistro is less expensive, and has a casual French feel to it. Kid friendly too (if your kids are adventuresome eaters like ours) but no kid menu, per se. Generally an older crowd, and while not a boisterous place, it's small/intimate so it can get a little loud. But we LOVE it, and can't recommend it enough! Ask for Scott -- tell him Cara and Mike sent you!
