| - I have taken my daughter here on three different occasions:
Gymnastic class for 6 year olds: The first class is free is you want to try it before committing. The instructors were very good and patient with the children. You can drop them off and leave but I chose to observe. The activities they did with the children were very appropriate, trampoline practice various styles of jumping, uneven bars, rings, parallel bars, etc. The part that made me VERY uncomfortable is when they assigned each child to their own set-up. Most of the time there was only one instructor for 5-6 children. At one point, I was watching my daughter crawling across the parallel bars, unattended, and the instructor were tending to other children. I was so afraid my daughter would slip and smack her face in the bars on the way down. I noticed it enough that I wouldn't bring her back for the classes.
1 hour jump for both of us: We went during the day and it wasn't too crazy. Priced VERY reasonable; $13 for the two of us for an hour. There are trampolines with basketball hoops, a bungee for the kids, and then the wide open trampoline areas. After being rusty, I got the hang of it again, and had fun jumping with my daughter for an hour. Good exercise! As other reviewers mentioned, there are kids running around being reckless so be careful. I did notice employees watching off-side and come make kids that were laying down on the trampoline get up. Pretty attentive.
Parent's night out: On the first Friday of every month, you can pay $20 and drop your kid off from 6-9 pm. Includes a slice of pizza and a drink. Fantastic deal. I'm not going to lie, I was extremely worried my daughter was going to get hurt outside of my supervision. Especially after my previous observations. We decided 2 hours for her was a good compromise....plus, she is so young and keeping her till the end would have been way past her bedtime. Okay for the older kids. When we picked her up, she was sweaty and in one piece. Although she did have a bump on her head from hitting her head on one of the rails. They offered to send us home with an ice pack but she was fine. One thing I noticed again was how friendly the employees were with the kids and knew my daughter's name. I really liked that.
Overall, I would definitely take my daughter here with me joining her. I'm still unsure about dropping her off without my supervision. It just makes me too nervous that she will get really hurt accidently by older kids rough-housing. So, I am 50/50!
