| - Had an LG G4 with a bootloop issue. Talked to LG online chat representatives who told me the info of this service center to send my phone too, along with a slip of paper with some details.
After seeing all the negative reviews the place had, both on Google and Yelp, I got really worried. But I didn't have another option. I made sure the phone would be well-tracked, and I took pictures of the outside and inside, as well as the water-damage indicator to make sure they wouldn't try to scam me out of my warranty (as I heard they did with a couple other people with this issue).
I called them to see if they had received my phone or not after I sent it out, but they couldn't give me any details, so I got a little worried. However, after about a week of sending my phone away, I quietly received it in brand new condition. I had called in to also make sure my phone would not come back to me locked to a different carrier, as I had had it unlocked, but they assured me I could contact LG for an unlock code if my phone was returned unlocked. Luckily, LG was great to me and sent me an unlock code within 3 days to unlock my phone again.
I don't even know if the phone I have now was completely replaced or just the motherboard, but I confirmed through the IMEI that the motherboard I now had was only a few months old. It has been working perfectly fine for the last few months since I had it fixed, and if anything goes wrong again, I wouldn't be super hesitant if LG tells me to send it back to FutureTel.
