I seriously love this cute Italian restaurant. Located inside the Venetian near the food court. It is closer to the back, a few shops from near the entrance of the parking garage. (You'll understand when you go there.) We went in and was seated in a booth. The inside was very small, but the booth made it feel spacious. The yellow walls and rustic photos made it feel very cozy and charming. The music was very nice too. It felt like I was in Italy, but not quite. But it made the ambiance a lot warmer.
Our server was very nice and was quite speedy. He had our waters out to us and our bread to us quite fast, but it was okay with me because I was thirsty. I read some of the other yelp reviews, and decided that I wanted to get the calamari. Calamari is probably one of my favorite appetizers. It was a huge portion. The calamari was so crispy and it was just delicious. It wasn't too salty and it had a tomato based dipping sauce which complimented the calamari perfectly. The added lemon juice made it extra delicious for me. This calamari dish was one of the best I've had. My boyfriend and I devoured that, hehe. The bread was wonderful too.
For our main dishes he had the chicken parmigiana with the spaghetti. It was a good sized portion, if I would've known better I would have just shared with him! You could really taste the tomatoes in the sauce. I had a lemon dish with chicken, I forget the name. Sorry! I won't lie though it was a little too lemony for me, and I am a big lemon fan. So rethink that dish if you don't want to be overwhelmed by lemon.
But I do love this Italian restaurant. Would definitely be back in again when I'm at the Venetian!
