| - The first time I heard the words "We can help you." was inside the doors of LSI Scottsdale after my MRI consult and I was in such shock after two years of agonizing pain after an accident (furniture fell on me in my storage unit). They did help me and were very thorough before, during and after my lumbar spine surgery.
I can't brag on LSI enough. I've gotten my life back thanks to you all! I have lumbar spine surgery on 8/4/16. A few things I can do now are walk over a mile (without extreme dabbing pain), yoga, boot camp workouts (modified with zero impact), elliptical, I can ride my beach cruiser again and so much more. Having been an athlete I felt awful not being able to exercise so I ate my feelings.
Since my surgery I'm down 30+ pounds, I've gained confidence, vitality and a new lease on life. I have degenerative disc disease and some other things going on, but since my surgery I can tolerate these things enough to live a healthy, active lifestyle. My biggest victory is winning 5th place for total loss (inches, weight, body fat %) in a 6-week fitness competition of 60+ people. I'm so amazed and grateful for having my life back again! I highly recommend anyone who has neck, shoulder or back pain to reach out to Laser Spine Institute for your complimentary MRI review.
Thank you LSI Scottsdale and Dr. Bruce Moffatt for changing my life!!!! You are angels in my book!
Administrative comments: My only recommendation would be for LSI to have a who to contact for what before and after surgery. There were tapes to jump through insurance wise with my pre-authorization and paperwork afterwards, but that is part of the insurance game and has nothing to do with LSI, it is the way our medical system is set-up. It saddens me to see so many 1 star reviews on here based upon that. Perhaps one should consider the treatment they received while on the phone and onsite not what their insurance said. I hate that insurance dictates patient care. I am fortunate and blessed that my insurance was an out of network instance and that I was able to have my surgery.
