My friend and I competed in our first triathlon this past weekend. We decided to rent wetsuits from D'Ornellas, wow big mistake. They had told us that a staff member from the shop would be at the triathlon in the morning and we could pick up the wetsuits at this time. On race day there was no sign of D'Ornellas, they didn't show up to the race and my friend and I were left without wetsuits. I ended up having to spend $300 on a wetsuit from a nearby vendor. But wait! Just when you think the customer service couldn't get any worse, it does! When I called the shop and told them what happened Lori's response was "I'm pretty sure we didn't tell you we were going to be there, but I don't want to fight with you so I will give you a refund" She also told me to "pay it forward" as if she was doing me some sort of favour. Unbelievable. A simple apology would have been nice.
