  • The Portuguese receptionist at 11:45am on feb 13th, 2017 at the blood specimen lab turned me down and told me to go elsewhere. I always get blood done here. My endocrinologist is within the UHN, she was quite rude. The requisition should be in the UHN system. I spoke with the admission at the hospital and they told me that I should have never been denied. I spoke to her supervisor and they gave me a number to wait a half hour. She called my Doctor and told me I better hope the doctor returns her call. Very rude. The lady also turned down other people and was rude to other people. I've never been treated like this, ever! I had to travel from Etobicoke, I had to fast and I am a diabetic. In the end I was again turned away. It was a very, very unpleasant experience...
