I took my 2000 Dodge Durango to Husker for a heater core replacement and could not be happier with both the service and quality of the work. Heater core replacements require dropping the steering column and tearing out the whole dash. The owner, Tom, called me and updated me regularly with pictures of the work. In addition to recommending replacement of a few other components that had been compromised because of the cracked heather core, Tom gave me the opportunity to come in an see the progress on my truck. These guys gave me sound advice that I weighed carefully. The replacement of the recommended components, I believe, was the right advice. Tom also gave me a box with all of the old parts. In addition to handling my heater core, these guys changed some corroded and leaking freeze plugs on the passenger side. I really appreciated Tom's no-nonsense approach to handling my truck repairs. I also appreciated the cleanliness and organization of his shop and work areas. I dropped my Durango off on Saturday morning and picked it up Wednesday afternoon. I wholeheartedly believe that Tom runs an honest shop with great integrity. My truck has more than 236k miles and I will be taking it to Husker Automotive from now on when it needs work. Tom runs a first-class operation at Husker.
