When you first walk in, this place feels more like a living room than a restaurant. Ot has couches and a little fireplace. I'd hate to see it if it ever got busy. I walked to the bacl to order; into what is definitely more like a home kitchen than a counter. But the appearance doesn't bother me - actually, I think it's limd of cool. It's the coffee I came for.
I got a cold brew, which came in a glass bottle making it look more like whiskey than coffee. I was going to order it hot until I was informes that 'pourover' as advertised didn't mean what most places call a pourover. The cold brew was a little bit bitter and left a strong aftertaste. Not horrendous, but not my favourite.
The quality of the coffee was not enough to make me come back. The shop was real neat, but not a good place to work or come with a group.
