  • After having read all the fearsome reviews, I told our travel agent to switch from Thrifty to Alamo - at least this was our Honeymoon trip, and I didn't want it to kick off with nothing but trouble at the rental car pick off. What can I say? That was the right decision - we stood in the line for no longer than 20 minutes, we had a nice chat with the front desk guy (yes, he tried to convince us to book an extra insurance, but in a charming way - we simply said "no thanks" and it was all good) AND we had four black Mustang convertibles to choose from. Pretty flawless!
