| - Since the Bellagio Buffet was WAY too long, we ended up settling on FIX, which looked like it had an interesting menu. We were seated immediately, and had a good view of all the people walking by in the casino.
I chose the margarita pizza and the adult's mac and cheese. The pizza had the usual ingredients, but it was a little more "flat bread" style, served in a rectangle shape. I was afraid that I'd look like a heffer if I ordered a whole pizza just for myself, but luckily the size of the pizza was perfect! I naturally inhaled it anyways, but at least it didn't look like I just dominated a huge Domino's sized pizza (this is what I convinced myself anyways). Pizza was very good, and tasted very fresh. There were even little juicy warm tomatoes on top, which added to the freshness.
The mac and cheese was definitely different that I expected....perhaps because no where in the description did it mention it was fried and served in fried sticks with a side of truffle oil. Even though it wasn't what I expected, it was still very good! My favorite part was the inside of the fried sticks which contained the mac and cheese. I kind of wished that the mac and cheese was just served regularly and not fried though because it was VERY rich and I actually didn't finish it all. I think the mac and cheese on its own was good enough to not need the fried outer coating.
I was very intrigued by the dessert menu, but was way too full after the rich food. If I had room though, it was a tie between the mocha milkshake with chocolate brownie and the donuts...they both looked delicious.
