Not the experience we were hoping for.
My fiance and I live in the neighborhood, so we were excited to try some locally made ice cream.
First of all, the space is quite small. This isn't a big deal, but if there are more than a few people there is a line out the door. There was a line out the door when we arrived, but it moved quickly.
I did not sample flavors before buying, which may have been my demise, but I didn't want to do that with a long line behind me. I ordered salted caramel and oatmeal raisin cookie dough. I loved the oatmeal raisin cookie dough, but was definitely not a fan of the salted caramel. It was way too salty. My fiance agreed.
He got oatmeal raisin cookie dough and pistachio. He agreed that the oatmeal raisin was very good. We both did not like the pistachio. It was almost flavorless. And shouldn't the pistachios be roasted to bring out flavor rather than raw?
We sat down outside to have our ice cream in the rocking chairs which was nice. However, there was a strong sewage smell outside at the time, which was the cherry on top of our experience. (definitely not their fault just ironic)
All in all, everyone was very nice and the line moved quickly. We were just quite disappointed in the flavors we had. I have definitely had better ice cream. Maybe we just didn't order the right ones?
