We went into this location to purchase Manischewitz for religious purposes and was degraded by the store manager.
My brother showed his ID to the clerk and I had left mine at home. She stated that she couldn't sell it to us, even after stating that this was for Shabbat, today. Once again, for religious purposes. She replied, "Oh, that doesn't matter." We asked to speak to a manager immediately.
Enter Luis. He was extremely rude to my brother and stated that he was not allowed back into the store to purchase it later, since it could be "for me". My brother then asked him what do they do when a mother is buying it and has her children with her? His reply? "Oh, we probably wouldn't sell it to her".... Such a lie.
Religion is sensitive, and clearly Luis lacks in this area. For him to state that my brother cannot come back at any point during the day, without me, to purchase the wine is ridiculous. I have an extremely busy day planned and this was the only time I had available to grab everything needed for tonight. This is a major inconvenience.
A complete void of empathy of our religious practices. We will not be returning to any Frys location and will be contacting management.
