  • Have you ever been looking for a place to go out at on the weekend, but regular bars and clubs are lacking that whole "I've fallen ass-first into a communist fever-dream" vibe? Worry not - Pravda has you covered. If the giant Lenin mural upon entry doesn't make it clear, this place is a Russian vodka bar that really goes all-in on the Russian part. They do, however, have one of the best vodka selections in the city. If you've spent your life suffering through Smirnoff and stoli, you should really do yourself a favour and try a proper, high end vodka. No, grey goose doesn't count either. If you're looking to spend like a "baller" as the kids say, you can go behind the bar into the glass-enclosed vodka area. I don't know how else to describe it, but you get to go in and choose your own bottles. Then they put them in ice sculptures at your table. Then you drink them and let your night really take a turn. Vodka, am I right?
