Review from the summer.
They had just recently opened in this new spot. I was debating between going to Libretto or this. Should have just gone for Libretto.
I had a waffle pressed sandwich (challah, peameal bacon, 3 cheese, and egg) which was as bland as printer paper. Tasted and felt like something I could whip up at home very easily but with much less flavour.
I wanted to try one of their liege waffles so I got one of those as well (didn't notice they were made and wrapped up near in the front of the counter already, which should have been a warning sign). Tasted mainly of sugar, no warmth to it. Just a cold, soulless shadow of a waffle.
If I'm ever in the neighbourhood, I might be willing to give them a chance again on a freshly made Brussels waffle but just... maybe.
