  • Ah, the late night stumbles after an inebriated strip walk or a long night of clubbing. Nothing hits the spot better in Vegas at 3 a.m. than a little pizza...who am I kidding, than a LOT of pizza. No matter how many world class dining options Las Vegas has to offer, it always comes down to the basics, bread, sauce, cheese, and some type of wannabe Italian meat. To be honest I don't care where I get it from, just be close to either a. where i am (club, bar, etc), or b. where i am going to be (my hotel). Secret pizza fulfills all that, and it has a certain enchanté about it. Tucked away on the third floor of the cosmopolitan, your first time there is like walking into a closet and ending up in Narnia, or going through the fabled Platform 9 3/4. It's secret (heh) passageway lined with rock memorabilia leads you with the scent of melted cheese, meat grease, and drunkards. A small waiting area and kitchen, Secret Pizza boasts ready made and made-to-order pizza with the assistance of a few pinball machines to burn the time while your pie is getting fired up. The staff is friendly enough, and the pizzas are huge and greasy. There's nothing more a guy can ask for. If you have any trouble finding it, it's no secret. My girlfriend and I literally just asked a custodian on our first visit, and he pointed us right to it. So end your night right with Secret Pizza and try not to pour half of the red pepper jar on your one slice to prove a point. Pro-tip: There's plenty of room right outside the place to eat. Couches, sofas, pool tables...other restaurant's empty tables.
