I went here last night after a 4 year break. The last time I went I wasn't overly impressed. My experience last night reaffirmed my original judgment.
I will give them a 5 out of 5 on service and ambiance. We sat out on the patio with twinkling lights and live music from the flute player. A very nice and romantic setting.
We had the meatballs for a starter and they were really good and a very generous portion. We had to take some home in order to not spoil our appetite for the pizza.
We got the capricciosa pizza that has mozzarella, prosciutto cotto, artichoke, black olives, and mushrooms. I guess it's shame on me for not realizing that prosciutto cotto was not prosciutto as I know it but sliced deli meat ham, and the artichoke tasted like it came out of a jar. Over all the pizza lacked any distinguishing flavors, very bland and a lack of texture in the toppings. The pizza crust was thin and crispy, maybe we just ordered the wrong thing?
I won't say don't go, but I'm not rushing to go back.
