| - I've stayed here a few times now, and I've always enjoyed my stay. The check-in staff has always been fast and friendly (even this last weekend being Halloween weekend, it took us less than 15 minutes to get checked into two rooms). The rooms are really big compared to most hotel rooms on the strip that are the standard 2 queen rooms. The TVs are also a good size compared to others (I'm talking about you, Harrah's. Love you, but your TVs are tiny). They have safes in the room as well, which is really nice. The bathrooms are pretty roomy, and my friend and I were more than comfortable having both of us getting ready for Halloween adventures on The Strip all weekend. I like that the hotel is pet friendly, and they don't put up a stink about it like some other Strip hotels have in the past (not Harrah's, they are also great with pets). The pool at Bally's is also pretty nice.
I mostly love that Bally's is always pretty affordable, and has a prime, mid-Strip location. It's almost in the very middle of the nearly 2-mile stretch of where the action all happens on the Strip. The Grand Bazaar outside of Bally's is pretty cool too. They have some great little food and boutique shops set up there. Parking here is free, which is nice. Getting up into parking can be scary-ish, because the drive up to parking is steep, and you've got people going down the ramp on your left, and pedestrians on the right.
All in all, Bally's is a great, budget-friendly Strip hotel!
