Butcher & The Brewer was the first place we stopped at upon arriving in Cleveland to see a Cubs World Series game. It quickly became apparently that it was going to be the only place we stopped at before the game. Atmosphere was casual, and the noise level decent enough so that you could hold a conversation. Service was top notch, as bartenders were quick and efficient and treated us warmly despite the fact that my friends and I were all dressed in Cubs gear. The albino stout is one of the better beers I've had in recent memory. Atmosphere feels old school and slightly upscale. Try the beef and cheddar if it's on the menu, as it was during the World Series. Excellent rendition on a classic sandwich. Next time I'm in Cleveland, I'll be coming back here.
