These guys set the bar when it comes to providing excellent service. This is going to be my go to shop for maintenance and purchases (If I can't find what I need on Amazon).
2/6/16 Updated Review
I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 1 because of my recent experience with Carl. I stopped by the shop to explain my issue and Carl was extremely rude and didn't even bother getting off his stool to look at my bike (both Carl and Lifan were conversing at the front counter when I walked in, with no customers in the store). Lifan on the other hand was very cordial and it's very unfortunate that because of Carl, I will no longer be coming here for any service. I gave this shop so much praise to anyone that was looking for service and I'm really disappointed with the way this turned out. I'm all about supporting local bike shops and this was my GO TO shop for any work that needed to be performed on my bike (tire change, tune-ups, annual maintenance, etc). I have three bikes, so it's very convenient that I have a shop work on them but it looks like I will be doing this work myself from now on. After leaving Irwin very disappointed, I took the bike to McGhie's and they had two mechanics come out to help me find the problem, which took less than 15 minutes. They talked to the manufacturer and replacement parts are being sent out under warranty.
Carl, your 15 minutes of 'precious' time has cost you a customer and possibly many more.

Carl, the way you handled the situation in my eyes was unacceptable. Had you actually spent the time to look at the bike, it would have actually showed you care about taking care of a repeat customer. Instead you chose to not remove yourself from the stool and proceeded to tell me to leave my bike at the shop. I have shared my experience with others and they agree that this situation was handled very poorly. McGhie's was able to locate the creak within 15 minutes (no charge) and it's really unfortunate you didn't want to spend a second of your day to take a look at the bike. Had you actually got off your stool to look at my bike and then tell me that I needed to leave the bike overnight, I would have happily accepted this. Can you explain to others that read this review, why you showed complete lack of professionalism?
