This trail is for hardcore hikers! If this is your first time hiking, please don't try this out. There are signs before you start the hike stating how hazardous the heat can get. Heat + all the walking, climbing, sliding down rocks, avoiding reptiles (snakes and others) and did I mention HEAT!
Please bring a lot of water on this hike. Also, I'd recommend gloves for climbing and snacks for energy.
Ok so that's the bad stuff that you need to be aware of, now on to the good part. If you want to lose weight fast this trail is it. It's a lot of hard work to get through the trail but the award at the end is so worth it! Cool Colorado river water to deep into and relax. It was an amazing experience and I would definitely do it again, just need to be careful and prepared.
