  • I was referred to red rock oral surgery by my dentist and felt comfortable after reading the Yelp reviews, however the ones about the office staff are correct. My first appointment a consultation I waited a while past my appointment time however they took several X-rays to make sure the surgery was ok to do. I was a little nervous after the consult with the doctor and technicians until I spoke with the office manager who was very friendly and made me feel at ease about everything that was to be expected before during and after surgery. I went back a week later for surgery I paid cash and the girl at the reception desk didn't count it but gave me a receipt. I even said to my driver that she didn't count my $ which I fount out several days later that she counted it while I was in surgery and had him pay more saying I was short $30. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I get it if I was short but this is something you should handle before. My surgery went well. I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. It was uncomfortable through the healing progress but the doctor did a great job and no dry sockets. The main reason this review gets 3 stars and not 4 is because the doctor removed a cyst during surgery which was sent to the lab. Which is great that it came back all clear, however I was in aware that this had been done until I received a bill from the lab. I took the bill with me to my second follow up appointment and asked for am explanation when I checked in. I feel like if something else was found during surgery it should have been told to my driver immediately following the surgery. I went to two follow ups and then the doc came in after we finished to second follow up to tell me about this. The office manager was the one who came in to talk with me about the cash and the bill and she was not as friendly this time around. I'm happy it wasn't anything major, I hope the office communicates more for their future patients.
